Name: Sakura Minamoto
Canon: Zombie Land Saga
Canon point: Episode 12, post-concert
Age: Physically 17, actually 27
History: here!
Personality:
♪ Prone to depression - It must first be said that Sakura has suffered from depression over what she considers to be an unimaginable amount of bad luck. It seems that every time she puts effort into something, right when she starts to believe and things look up, some bizarre incident will take that away from her. Just take her death: she was on the way to an idol audition when she got hit by a truck out of nowhere. She lost those memories, allowing her to live a peaceful (after)life until she… got hit by another truck. This brought those memories back, and now that she knows the truth, it’s going to something she struggles with anytime she’s faced with disappointment. Even before her memories returned, she showed signs of an inferiority complex, constantly comparing herself to the “true” idols of her group that seemed to possess a natural charisma and talent.
♪ Hard-working - Despite that, during her times of amnesia, she worked harder than anyone. While another girl took on the role of leader of their idol group, Sakura was the one who was ready to support everyone along the way, wanting them to get along, wanting them to be their best, and wanting to perform together with everyone. She didn’t understand why she was drawn to the stage, but she felt that it brought out the best in her. She lacked experience, especially compared to some of her group members who were idols before they were zombies, but she practiced extra daily to ensure that she could keep up. When preparing for a big live, they were suddenly whisked away to an isolated forest in the cold for a training session. Left to the elements, the other girls worked together to first get settled, but Sakura wanted to practice their routines first… and it seemed like she was the only one who cared. She even got angry that no one else seemed to value this as highly as she did.
♪ Compassionate - Sakura cares about her friends deeply, and she wants them to get along. At first, the other girls were very reluctant to become idols, much less to accept the fact that they had become zombies. A couple of them even tried to sneak out of the mansion where they were to reside in the middle of the night. Sakura, who had already been shot by a police officer when she ran from the residence her first night there, tried to persuade them to stay. When she failed, she accompanied them along the way to make sure nothing would happen to them. She notices the small things, nonverbal cues that people give off, and she makes herself available should they need or want assistance or companionship. When two of the girls were fighting and couldn’t see eye to eye, Sakura tried to hear both of their perspectives, to be a friend to both, while trying to patch things up between the two of them. If she couldn’t communicate with her words, she would show them with her actions.
♪ Timid - Even when she is thinking positively, Sakura tends to be a nervous individual. Perhaps it’s a natural reaction when suddenly awakening as a zombie, or when her new manager makes a difficult request of her, but her timid nature can be heard in her voice. She can be a bit shaky with her replies under pressure, and she’s unsure of herself in new situations. That said, she tried her best regardless, but there’s always a sense of uneasiness about her as she tries to adapt to anything new, be it a new acquaintance, a new experience, or anything out of the ordinary.
♪ Excitable - When she gets into something, she gets really into it. She can be slow to warm up to new experiences, but once she gets just a taste of it going well, she loses herself in it completely. This is another reason for her excessive practicing. She doesn’t want to hold the others back, but she also wants to be her best for her own sake. She puts her full self into everything she does. She loves to share her joy with her friends, and when she’s in a good mood, everyone knows it because it’s all over her face and her movements. She has trouble sleeping at night when she’s too excited about an upcoming concert or promotional event. If her moments of depression are her lowest points, then these times of optimism are definitely the highs.
Always Keep In Mind: Due to her experiences in life, Sakura can be prone to depression whenever those memories surface. Thanks to her zombie friends, she’s finally been able to move on again— something which will be set back (to a lesser degree than she experiences in canon) once she loses them and arrives here. However, she will likely bounce back faster as a result of their persistence. When in her best mood, she is incredibly cheerful and optimistic, even possessing of leadership qualities. She may be older than she looks, but she’s very inexperienced in many ways and still has a lot to learn!

Questions:
What do you want to study at Diatu Magicademy?
Is there a magic that can change a person’s luck? I’d be interested in that. If not, then… I don’t know. It doesn’t really matter since I’ll just mess it up anyway.
If you knew you could go back to the moment you left, would you leave immediately or continue your studies for a while?
Of course I would go back! Everyone waited for me the last time… Even though I’m like this. I know they wouldn’t continue without me, so I need to get back as fast as I can!
If your enemy was at Diatu Magicademy, how would you react?
Enemy? I don’t… think I have one of those. Do people really go around calling people their enemy nowadays?
When is it acceptable to resolve a dispute by force?
Obviously never!! What’s with these questions? Enemies and disputes; are they that much of a concern here?
What should the supreme goal of any wizard be?
I’m not a wizard, so I really couldn’t say. Probably to learn a lot of magic?
Special Considerations
Your Special Something: An Item of Power
Rank Your House Choice:She will still be a zombie, so she has a special arrangement I believe!?
1st: Valhudor
2nd: Ka
3rd: Aer et Calculum
Powers: Nah, aside from being a zombie, nothing special about her really!
Items:Probably not, but if it’s possible to add any later, they would be super normal items like CDs and t-shirts! WAIT I THOUGHT OF ONE— Is a supply of the makeup used to disguise her as a human possible? Also possibly not necessary if there's a magic that can do it, but I will leave this here in case for now
Anything Else: Her samples/personality might seem a bit contrary and all over the place. She has some very opposing traits! This is because Sakura is genuinely a kind, energetic individual, but due to repeated unfortunate circumstances in life, she became very depressed and lacked hope for the future. She started off her zombie life with amnesia, allowing her to blossom anew, but when those memories resurfaced, it destroyed her. Her friends were able to lift her spirits again, but landing in another unfortunate incident so soon after she reconciled those feelings is going to affect her for a bit. There’s still the part of her that wants to try again and again, and so it surfaces here and there, and it will continue to do so until she finds her footing in this world!
